Farewell Matthias Silber

On August 1, 1977, a then 16-year-old began his apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at NEUMO – the start of an impressive career. What nobody could have foreseen back then: it would turn into nearly five decades of company loyalty.

For many years, Matthias Silber successfully led the international sales department as Export Manager, making a significant contribution to NEUMO’s global success. With his characteristic foresight, he had already passed on the responsibility of team leadership to his successor in 2024.

In his current role as Senior Advisor in International Sales, colleagues greatly value his vast expertise, fascinating stories, open ear, humor, and reliability. Over the years, Matthias Silber has witnessed three generations of company owners and numerous transformations, most recently accompanying the move to the NEUMO Ehrenberg Campus.

On September 12, after more than 48 years with NEUMO, Matthias Silber will celebrate his last active working day and enter a well-deserved retirement.
