NEUMO opens new in-house training center

On September 1, 2025, NEUMO took training in technical professions back into its own hands with the opening of a new in-house training center at its Knittlingen site.

Previously, our trainees completed their first year of training externally in order to learn the basics of metalworking. However, it became apparent that they often lacked both a sense of belonging to the company and the fundamentals that are important for our work. By bringing training back in-house, we can now ensure that our junior staff are trained in a practical manner from the outset, in accordance with our standards and with close ties to our company.

Michael Gesell, who has been with NEUMO since 2005 and has been an examiner on the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce examination board for many years, is taking over as training manager.

Every year, NEUMO takes on:

  • 2 apprentices as cutting machine operators
  • 2 apprentices as construction machine operators

The training workshop is equipped with modern machines, from conventional lathes and milling machines to column drilling machines and a CNC lathe. This enables us to create the ideal conditions for preparing our trainees for their future tasks in a practical manner.

We are delighted to now be able to support and encourage our next generation of employees directly in-house. This is an important step for the future of our skilled workers at NEUMO.
