QUALITY ASSURANCE

precision in every detail

When processing components, tube material and complex systems for pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, high-purity gas media and chemicals, quality is not an option – it is our standard. Our quality assurance accompanies every project from goods receipt to final acceptance. State-of-the-art testing methods, trained specialist staff and complete documentation guarantee that your requirements are not only met, but exceeded.

Flow components

Inspections

Dimensional and geometric inspection

Precision inspection of dimensional accuracy and shape. Using high-precision measuring equipment, we check whether all components correspond exactly to the required dimensions and geometries, ensuring a perfect fit and absolute tightness.

Ferrite content measurement

Checking the ferrite content for optimum corrosion resistance. We measure the ferrite content precisely to ensure weld seam quality and guarantee resistance to corrosion and cracking.

Material identification (PMI)

Positive material identification for 100% material reliability. Using state-of-the-art PMI analysis, we ensure that every component is made from exactly the specified material, without any risk of material mix-ups.

Surface roughness (Ra) according to DIN EN ISO 4287/4288

Measurement of surface roughness according to international standards. We test surface quality according to DIN EN ISO 4287/4288 to ensure that hygiene requirements are met in sensitive processes such as pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

Visual inspection (VT)

Our ISO 9712-certified inspectors visually inspect the components and detect even the smallest deviations that machine systems often overlook.

Measuring equipment:

  • Precision calipers & micrometers
  • Wall thickness gauges
  • Profile measuring devices (roughness)
  • Ferrite measuring device
  • PMI analyser
  • Contour measuring device
  • 3D measuring machine

Inspector qualifications:

  • VT Level 2 according to ISO 9712
  • PT Level 2 according to ISO 9712

Tube business

Fully documented incoming and outgoing goods inspection

Every incoming and outgoing goods shipment is inspected and documented in accordance with defined inspection plans, both for standard and special material tubes.

Dimensional inspection

Measurement of length, diameter and wall thickness. We use calibrated measuring instruments to check every component to an accuracy of 1/10th of a millimetre in order to reliably rule out any deviations.

Visual inspection

Direct visual inspection with targeted wall lighting. Using special lighting, we reliably check pipes for cleanliness, surface defects and foreign particles down to the last detail.
Endoscopic inspection over the entire length of the pipe. Using state-of-the-art endoscope technology, we inspect the entire 6-metre interior of the pipe to reliably detect even the smallest irregularities or contaminants.

Microscopic surface analysis

Our microscope examinations with up to 1000x magnification enable the early detection of the finest particles, coatings or structural changes. This ensures that only flawless tube qualities are used, visible down to the grain boundary level.

Material identification (PMI)

Positive material identification for 100 % material reliability. Using state-of-the-art PMI analysis, we ensure that every component is made from exactly the specified material, without any risk of material mix-ups.

Surface roughness (Ra) according to DIN EN ISO 4287/4288

Pressure vessel, apparatus engineering and customised products

Certified safety for your individual projects

From the first weld to the final pressure test, we ensure that even the most complex assemblies and customised products meet all technical, legal and industry-specific requirements.

Visual inspection

Visual weld inspection (VT) directly or indirectly using an endoscope. A trained eye for perfect welds. ISO 9712-certified inspectors visually check each weld for shape, uniformity and possible irregularities, a crucial step for the structural integrity and safety of your components.
100 % visual inspection, even in hard-to-reach areas. Using high-resolution endoscope technology, we inspect weld seams even in internal or hard-to-reach areas for seamless quality control without compromise.

Penetrant testing (PT)

Revealing what lies hidden. With dye penetrant testing (PT) in accordance with ISO 9712, even the finest surface cracks in weld seams and workpieces that are invisible to the naked eye can be reliably detected.

X-ray testing (RT, external)

A look inside for absolute safety. External X-ray testing (RT) is used to examine the internal structures of welded joints and material cross-sections in order to rule out invisible defects or inclusions, which are then verified internally.

Dimension and position check

Absolute dimensional accuracy for a perfect fit. Each component is checked for length, diameter and geometry using precise measuring technology to ensure a perfect fit in your system and reliable operation.

Pressure testing in accordance with PED/DGRL

Safety under real-life conditions. Our pressure tests, which comply with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED/DGRL), simulate the subsequent operating pressure and ensure that your containers function reliably even under extreme conditions.

Measuring equipment:

  • Precision calipers & micrometers
  • Wall thickness gauges
  • Profile measuring devices (roughness)
  • Ferrite measuring device
  • PMI analyser
  • Endoscopes
  • Manometers

Inspector qualifications:

  • VT Level 2 according to ISO 9712
  • PT Level 2 according to ISO 9712
  • RT Level 2 according to ISO 9712
