2.4605 / Alloy 59

The material 2.4605, also known as Alloy 59, is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that offers outstanding corrosion resistance in a wide range of aggressive chemical environments. This alloy is particularly resistant to pitting and stress corrosion cracking, as well as to both oxidizing and reducing media. Due to its excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures, 2.4605 is ideally suited for applications in the chemical and process industries, as well as in marine and offshore sectors.
